We've taken it to the skate park as well and rides like a dream on paved ground.. He's 6 and loves to scooter, and I'm guessing his calves will be as big as his head before summer because it does have some serious weight to it. That weight is well balanced and it does feel like it is bullet proof. Weight limit says 225, but I'm a small child heavier, or large dog...and it moves well with me on it. | "They're a but heavy for an 8 or 9 year old. Heavy and slow, a scoot around the park is a serious workout. One design flaw is that they don't seem to pick up momentum down hill. Another is the kids seem to be picking up injuries from the back axel catching their ankles as the push off the ground. I regret my purchase - a light, fast stunt scooter is a better buy than one of these." | |
